The Liebster Award

Okay, so before I just want to apologise for my lack of posting. In spetember i started my final year of sixth form and have been struggling with the workload. I promise from now on I will make it a must to post at least once weekly!

Now onto the point of this post. I have been nominated by Pink Pastel Heart.
As a relatively new blogger I was really suprised by this. So here are the questions.

1) When & why did you start blogging?
I started a few months ago and this was explained in a post. I wanted somewhere to release my thoughts and was influenced by a few of my favourite youtubers. My blog changed course and I deleted a few posts because i found the type of blogger whom I wanted to be. Advice/Beauty/Fun.

2) Whats are the top of your christmas list this year?
Well, now that christmas has passed, i recieved the top item which was a new laptop which I am now using to write this post.

3) Whats your favourite post on your blog?
My favourite post is this one The Past Year
This is purely because I love looking back and remembering all these things.

4) Whats your favourite food during christmas?
Definately all the chocolates haha!!!

5) Favourite month of the year?
For me its August, because all my cherished memories are made during summer plus I love the sunshine and just being happy hanging out with my friends.

6) What will your new years resolution be?
For 2016 I definately want to tone up and get the figure I always wanted. Also to stop caring about boys, who needs them?

7) Favourite animal?
I have an obsession with pugs, for christmas I got so many pug related presents, it was literally heaven aha!

8) Sweet or savoury?
Depends on the context and also mood! If im feeling emotional definately sweet, if im feeling happy I love savoury things.

9) Do you prefer the book or the film?
Majority of the time it is the book. I love picturing the characters for myself using my own immagination, it makes the story more fun.

10) If you could be anyone in the world who would you be?
Hmm, this a tricky one. I'd pick someone who is strong but also successful and also not famous. I'd hate to live in the limelight.

When I find more blogs i will nominate some as I only follow a few.

Thoughts & Feelings

So, I thought for this post I would talk to you guys. I'm assuming that the majority of people reading this are old enough to have had friends who have screwed them over? If not then I apologise that this post isn't what you are after.

We all make a group of friends whom we adore and think are the best people ever. Well that soon changes doesn't it? Everyone soon shows their true colours and then the arguments start. I've experienced this. I had this one friend who I was naturally closer to out of the group and whenever I went out it was with her but then things soon changed. I dated this really really nice guy who had a heart of gold. This friend I had kept saying things that made the relationship sound like it wouldn't work and I ended up breaking up with him. I then went away for the weekend as a school trip and on Valentine's Day I found out that she was now dating him (ironic right) but the thing is, I was never mad at him because as far as he was concerned it was my fault for breaking up with him. But for my friend to do that to me, I honestly realised that it wasn't worth my struggle. (p.s if he is reading this, I am so sorry and I know that I shouldn't have ended things on someone else's terms, I just thought airing it would help me get over it).

If I'm honest, I think the whole idea of this post is to show you how people that you call your friends may not stay that way. Some girls put themselves before anything and don't care who they screw over in the process. Whereas some other girls (like my best friend) are so kind and caring and would never purposely upset me or screw me over. School is the, years of your life that are supposed to be the greatest. Please don't waste them years arguing with a group of girls because honestly it's not worth it. Find some friends you can actually have a laugh with. And also, find people who make YOU HAPPY.

I hope this blogpost was okay haha! And I hope you do take into consideration my advice.

Have the best school year ever.

Lots of love,

p.s never let other people bring you down, ever.

Hello all,

I know i said i would only post on a Sunday and Wednesday but i have somethings that's bugging me. In my first ever post i said that i was gonna use this blog as an escape, and that seems so relevant now because i am so stressed.
However, i am deciding to change the types of things that i post! This is because to anybody that knows me, I'm not the best person to be a beauty blogger or any of that. I'm gonna focus on my passions instead.

I just hope you will stay with this blog.

Lots of love as always,

Trying Lush Bath Bombs!

So if you read a previous post you would know that I purchased some bath bombs at Lush which I have never tried before. So for this post I thought I'd let you know what I thought!

The first of the two is The Experimenter- I was attracted to this bath bomb due to its colours and the idea that using it would be an 'experiment'. I used this bath bomb the night I got it and I did like it! Although the smell wasn't the best, it somehow relaxed me and the colours were amazing! It was definitely worth buying and I would buy it again because it was literally beautiful. There was also popping bits in there which made the water glitter and I just loved the sound of those! Overall I would recommend this bath bomb, especially if you are after a relaxing time or just want to see the colours!

The second bath bomb was Intergalatic. This bath bomb has now become my absolute favourite! It gave off a minty smell which was strong. The smell helped clear up ,y blocked nose which was a bonus but it was also a nice scent. It made my bath blue and sparkly so I felt as if I was swimming in the ocean as opposed to sitting in a bath tub in London, haha! It also gave off lovely colours and patterns and was beautiful to look at. This bath bomb also helped me relax as I could actually picture myself swimming in the sea (something I've never done) rather than being bored in the bath. Although a smaller amount, there was also popping bits in here too which also helped sooth me.  Overall I would recommend this bath bomb because I really think it was a enjoyable and brilliant. I also love the smell. If you like to sparkle then this is the bath bomb for you!

I hope you enjoyed this little post, I just thought I'd update you on what I had bought!
Hope you are having a fantastic week!

Lots of love...

Album Review #1

The Weeknd - Beauty Behind The Madness

I bought this album last Sunday and since then I have listened to it about 20 times. It is by far one of the best albums I have ever listened too. It's a magical creation and every single song is good in its own way. This album also features artists such as Ed Sheeran, Lana Del Rey & Labrinth which ,ale some of the tracks even more intriguing.

One of my favourite songs off this album is As You Are. I love the lyrics and feel to this song and I find myself having it on repeat a lot of the time.
Another one of my favourites is Dark Times. This is for two reasons, one it has such a catchy base line and I am guaranteed to nod along to it. The other is because it features my favourite artist in the world, Ed Sheeran. The combination of artist is heavenly and I couldn't fault it.

One song which I didn't like when listening to the album was Earned It. It's a good song, I'm not faulting that. But before the album came out I had heard it so many times as it had featured in the film Fifty Shades Of Grey. So I just feel it was overplayed before I even got the album.

Overall, this album is a magical creation and I would recommend it to anybody! If you're interested in this you can pick it up from a various amount of places such as Amazon, HMV, Asda etc..

I hope you enjoyed this post, I thought I'd try something a little different.

Lots of love,

Bank Holiday Shopping

So because it's a bank holiday weekend, I decide to go to Bluewater in Kent to have a little spend up. So I thought for this blogpost I would show you what I bought!

My first stop was Bubbleology. I am literally in love with this, but it's funny because a year ago I didn't even know it existed! I usually got for a passion fruit tea with mango jelly but today I decided to go for a white peach fruit tea with apple jelly. It was delicious.

Next stop was the Krispy Kreme shop. My family and I absolutely love Krispy Kreme doughnuts. Here I bought 12 original glazed, I am so looking forward to eating them! Om nom nom.

Next I went to HMV. This is my all time favourite shop. I spend so much money in here because I prefer CDs to MP3 downloads. Today I got three CDs.
The Weeknd / Beauty Behind The Madness

This is the latest album from him and it's amazing!! It also includes Ed Sheeran whoop. I adore The Weeknd so much and every single album he has made has been brilliant.
- The Weeknd / Kiss Land

See told you I love The Weeknd, haha.
- Ella Eyre / Feline

This album was definitely worth it. It has such a good sound and vibe and I love it.

I then went to Lush, I bought two bath bombs which I have never had before.
They were:
- The Experimenter

- Intergalactic
I have high hopes for these!

Finally I went to waterstones and bought the 2016 diary by Sprinkle Of Glitter (i.e Louise). I have wanted this since it was announced and I am glad to finally have it. I hope it helps to keep me organised!

I hope you enjoyed this post! If you are a fan of Louise (Sprinkle Of Glitter) I recommend this diary.

Lots of love...

Books I've Read

Ever since I was little I have enjoyed getting stuck into a book. And to this day I still read every night. Reading is just a way to escape and enter somebody else world and imagination, and I love the idea of that. So for this post I thought I'd share the books I have read with you, without trying to give away too many spoilers,

1) We Were Liars by E. Lockhart.

I can honestly say that this is my favourite book. It held my interest all the way through the book and the ending was spectacular. I highly recommend this book to anybody who loves reading as much as me. It is honestly a brilliant piece of writing.

2) The Hunger Games Trilogy by Suzanne Collins.

Now I started reading these after I had watched the first film which kind of ruined it for me because I was unable to let my imagination run to the full potential. However the books apwere still a good read. I could actually picture everything clearly and that's how a book should be. However I didn't like the ending of Mockinjay, I feel like it was kind of like a happy ever after fairy tale ending but I guess that's just down to opinion.

3) The Divergent Trilogy by Veronica Roth.

These have a similar sort of story to The Hunger Games but I enjoyed these way more. I feel like the characters were stronger and I feel like I engaged with the storyline more. They got me hooked from the beginning and I began to feel very connected to the characters especially Tris. I highly recommend these books to anyone.

4) Paper Towns by John Green.

I read this book on the basis that everybody was recommending John Green. But I'm glad I did. This is my favourite John Green book and the storyline was so intriguing. The character of Margo was mysterious and I guess that's what kind of mad eke want to keep reading because I was red to solve the mystery of Margo. Brilliant read.

5) The Longest Ride by Nicholas Sparks.

This book was the most romantic and engaging book I've ever read. It made me smile and also made me cry and I began to sympathise with the characters. I can honestly say that I loved the fact that different chapters were from different people's perspectives.

6) The Mortal Intrument Series by Cassandra Clare.

This series was hands down the best I have read. The plot never has a dull moment and there is surprises in every single book. Clary Fray has got to be one of my all time favourite characters. She is portrayed really well and her relationship with Jace is also shown clearly. Brilliant series, go read it.

7) Extroardinary Means by Robyn Schneider.

Again, another cute and lovely book. It came out this year and I pre-ordered it so that I could read it on its release date and it was fantastic! The plot was amazing and the characters were brilliantly thought out. Especially Sadie.

8) The Manifesto On How To Be Interesting by Holly Bourne.

The storyline was so relatable to teenagers and I loved every minute reading this. It made me smile in places and I love that from books. Although I wouldn't recommend following the steps on how to be interesting haha!

9) Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell.

I love the way this book shows to types of people who are friends. Well become closer than that. I sympathised with the character of Eleanor throughout to whole story and love how Park was her rock. This book is fantastic and I love how it brings in friendships as a main part of the plot.

10) Girl Online by Zoe Sugg.

This book was so beautifully written. I love the plot and how the main character uses a blog to let out some emotions. I love how quickly she falls in love with Noah. And how no matter what they go through in the end they sort it all out. I love that she finally feels something when she gains views on her blog too.

I hope you enjoyed my list(I have read more than 10) and If you have read some of them let me know I'm the comments.

Lots of love...

August Favourites!

These are the things I have been loving throughout August.

1. Ed Sheeran: An Unexpected Journey (Book)

This is a book by my favourite musical artist. And although I read it when it first came out, I have been reading it again and I just adore it as I feel like I'm getting to know Ed. Rather than just being a fan.
If you like Ed Sheeran and haven't read this book, I think you should go get it asap! It's amazing.
You can get this from places such as Waterstones & WHSmith (In The UK) & Amazon.com (In The U.S.)

2. Black Eyeliner (Collection Fast Stroke & BC)
I rarely leave the house without eyeliner on. Whether it be a thin line or a cat eye. These two brands are relatively cheap(around £2.99) which is why I love them. They are still very good as well.
I would recommend these to anyone.

3. Revolution Beyond Flawless Ultra Eyeshadow Palette
I have only been using eyeshadow recently but this palette is definitely my favourite. I love that it has light shades as well as dark shades. They are also very easy to blend. I just use a superdrug smokey eyeshadow brush to do this. This palette was around £8 (Superdrug) which I think is worth it as there is so many colours.

4. Eyebrow Pencil (Kohl Me Beautiful)
Personally, I have tried so many eyebrow products. From Rimmel London: Brow This Way to the Sleek Eyebrow Stylist Pencil. None of these products were what I was looking for. I came across these and they were literally perfect and so easy to blend etc. They are also cheap (ranging between £1-3).
I would recommend these products to anyone.

5. Victoria Secret Mist Spray in Love Spell
I absolutely love the idea of these! They are easy to carry around and not too strong of a smell. I also love that they do these in so many different fragrances, as well as different fragrances. I honestly never leave the house without one of these and this one if my favourite.

6. Orange Is The New Black
I spent my summer watching this series and I can honestly say that it has 100% been worth it. It is such a good series. My favourite character being Alex. It's very entertaining too.
Definitely a recommended watch!

So that's all my favourites, hope you enjoyed.

Lots of love...
